Descriptions:

The crack-fill is an especially formulated repair mortar. It is designed to effectively repair the cracks in plasters, and concrete etc. It is avoiding the use of costly putties and sealants. When mixed with water, the dry powder forms a creamy consistent mortar. The mortar is ready for use, repairing cracks & plasters. 

Primary Used For:

  • Repairing of structural cracks and superficial plaster cracks.
  • Cracks at wall junction and roof slabs etc.  
  • Can be utilized for repairing ceiling cracks as well as plasters without difficulty in application due to its viscosity.

Directions For Use

Preparation:

It is necessarily critical that the surface going to be treated is clean, sound and uncontaminated. Chase the crack and make a neat ā€œVā€ molded groove at least 6mm wide on the surface. The bedraggled plasters can be eliminated in less or more square sides. Faulty material must be separated carefully by making the use of  needle guns, reducing tools, chipping hammers or sharp tools. Force is not suggested to be applied as it can damage the good material below.

Mixing
Just add water to Crack Filling Compound by 3.5 volumes of powder and 1 volume of water to and then mix it soundly to acquire an even consistency mortar. In demanding states, it can be utilized to renew water and the same can be utilized for readying the surfaces before application of this filler. Whereas, blending by trowel is suited for small premixes, it is suggested that a cost-efficient mechanical mixer can be utilized.

Curing
Start curing after the material has been sufficiently hardened for two days. Leave it to dry out slowly (i.e. protection from speedy drying due to excessive heat, wind or sun). Utilization of Curing Compound is perfect in repairs.

Subsequent Finish
Crack Filling Compounds is suited for all subsequent decorative finishes and painting. The finish acquired by this filler is far smoother in comparison to conventional plasters.
