The packaging of our offered Perma Heavy Duty Mortar includes three components for ensuring the higher performance so that strong bedding mortar can be rendered to the industrial floors. Solvent free epoxy resin, base and the hardener are the three components that are included in the  Perma Heavy Duty Mortar package. As the name implies, this product finds usage in the repairing of heavy duty applications including tunnels, bridge girders, dams, spillways and many more.

Direction For Use:

Surface Preparation

Surface preparation is the first step when using this mortar where the surface to be treated is adequately cleaned and dried.

Priming

The next step is priming the surface with Perma Master Prime-CN.

Mixing

Next follow by mixing liquid components in a pan type resin mixer. Now add the powder component. Keep remixing till the powder is well dispersed.

Application

The mixed Perma-HDM should be then carefully spread on to the primed surface by a skilled expert in the thickness required. Ensure the mix is tacky and follow it by giving a smooth finish. You can use a steel trowel for the same. A thickness of 20 mm of the product is recommended on ceilings and vertical surfaces. For increasing or building up to the desired thickness, the primer can be applied and reapplied on the cured surface before 24 hours.

Health And Safety:

Good quality hand gloves should be used by the workers for keeping themselves safe against any skin irritation. Packing material used should be burnt after use and disposed off by burying.

Coverage:

  • 1 kg gives coverage of 5.4 sq. ft/mm thickness of the screed.

  • Sold in 10 kg units and even offered in bulk.


Shelf Life:

  • 12 Months (from the exact manufacturing date).
